Edinburgh Castle in Edinburgh, Scotland

Edinburgh Castle was an incredible castle to go through. The city of Edinburgh itself, is steeped in history. Would you believe that this great castle was totally dismembered at one point - as not to give it to the enemy? Only one building stood when they arrived, and that was the tiny chapel (first photo below), that the Scots built for their English queen.
