Buckingham Palace - Changing of the Guard

Up until my first time seeing the Changing of the Guard, I had so much misconception about the ceremony.

The event is on a very large scale. I had formally pictured in my mind two Guardsman walking up to the two Guardsman who were about to 'stand down' - and a ceremony regarding the event would quickly (but solemnly) take place. Boy was I wrong! It involves two different regimens coming from two opposite directions!

You need to be in great physical shape to follow this event to it's fullest.
